How to export a structure

The Structure Block save interface in Minecraft.

Step 1

Build and save with a Structure Block

Build what you want to export, then get a Structure Block with /give @s minecraft:structure_block.

Place it near the build, switch it to Save mode, enter a structure name, click Detect, keep Include entities off if you only need blocks, then press Save.

Step 2

Locate the exported `.nbt` file

After saving, Minecraft creates a structure file inside the world folder. The usual location is generated/minecraft/structures/.

This is the file you will import into Display Converter.

Step 3

Import the structure into the site

Use the import button or drop the .nbt file directly into the viewer. The site will parse the structure, load its assets, and build the block list automatically.

Step 4

Adjust scale, then copy the command

Use Build scale to resize the generated build, and enable Optimized mode if you want culling. When the preview looks right, click Copy display command and paste it into Minecraft.

Step 5

Paste the command into a command block

The generated command is made for a Command Block. Paste it there, not in regular chat.

When you activate the block, the structure will spawn and take the place of the command block itself, exactly like in the demo.
